Life can be busy and distracted with constant demands on your limited energies. Take a much needed break to gain clarity and inspiration. Come away for a weekend and spend it deeply in the presence of God, praying and reflecting on your life's direction to attain an incredible richness to your vision of daily life and to grow in your relationship with God.
Join us for our annual local retreat held at SpringHill Suites in Irving from February 28- March 1, 2020. You'll return home relaxed and recharged to better live holiness in the middle of the world.

SpringHill Suites was selected for its size, meeting space and ability to foster an atmosphere of personal prayer and recollection.

To achieve this aim, all meeting rooms in the hotel have been reserved. Additionally, meeting rooms are located in their own corridor with doors separating them from the rest of the hotel.

All meals are included during your stay starting with lunch on Friday.
A retreat is not a group activity—it is meant to be made by each person alone. You, along with each of the other participants, spend these few days entirely alone in the presence of God. It is in this way that you can begin to speak with Him, and grow to know Him.
There is one central fact to life that the retreat brings to the forefront of your mind: Someday you will leave this earthly life and meet God face to face, alone. The retreat is an introductory preparation for this transcendently important encounter. Your union with him at death is meant to be a reunion of intimate friends. Consider in your prayer: Is that what it will be?

The retreat begins at 8:15 am on Friday, February 28th, and concludes after lunch (about 2 pm) on Sunday, March 1st.
On Friday, we encourage you to arrive by 8:15 am to be ready for the first activity in Lonestar I meeting room. The talk begins at 8:30 am. Please eat breakfast beforehand. Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am. There will be an opportunity for confession before mass. Rooms will be ready for check-in by 3 pm.
Mass on Sunday begins at 11:45 am and lunch is a 1 pm.
An Opus Dei retreat includes meditations given by a priest and a talk each day given by laypersons that will suggest ideas for reflection. There will be an opportunity for daily Mass, rosary, and other times of prayer with others. There is also time set aside for your personal conversation with God about specifics of your life. Feel free to setup an appointment with either of the retreat directors to discuss concrete resolutions to help live holiness in your daily work, family life and ordinary occupations. Our hope is that this retreat inspires you to live your faith right where you are and discover the means to do it.
A detailed schedule will be provided at the first activity on Friday.
